Father of our Nation, Mahatma Gandhi's statue was unveiled in London Parliament square. India's Finance Minister, Mr. Arun Jaitley unveiled the statue in the presence of Prime Minister David Cameron, Grandson of Gandhi Mr. Gopalkrishna Gandhi and many other dignitaries.
The ideal of non-violent and peace loving memories, knowledge of Mahatma Gandhi is lost around here but more statues are built. I think it's a tribute and a sign to remember Gandhi's teaching. Mohandas Karam Chand Gandhi must be a role model for all Indian Nationalist.
Lets not forget his participation in various political movement for the sake of Independence of India from the British.
Political Movements: World War I, Champaran & Kheda Agitation, Khilafat Movement, Noncooperation, Salt Satyagraha, Congress politics, Quit India movement....
