Blog writing is a thing that millions of us should do, sometimes badly, on a very regular basis. We strive to engage a faceless audience and get them interested in something that is of interest to us. How to do it right is very difficult to judge but below are 5 ways of making sure you are never known outside of your living room.
How NOT to write your blog:
1. Try to be self-absorbed.
Probably the best one for getting your blog ignored is to write about yourself as much as you can. If you ignore the reader and not give them a compelling reason to stay then you can rest assured that your blog will be left in that vacuum in the ether that is called cyberspace. The one good thing about this approach is that your mother will love to read your blogs and show them to her friends and bingo associates. They will erroneously credit her for giving the world someone who is going to make a difference.
2. Use your own keywords in your blog heading in such a way that it attracts very few hits.
Never research the niche product that you want to write about and steadfastly ignore any recognised procedures for using researched keyword lists that will attract as many, interested and cross-interested, readers as possible. This will ensure that the words you use in your blogs will never be read by those you are aiming at.
